Ranbir Kapoor (en hindi रणबीर कपूर) est un acteur indien né le 28 septembre 1982 à Mumbai. Il est le fils de Rishi Kapoor, il commença sa carrière dans le film Saawariya en 2007.

En 2 ans de carrière il est devenu l'icône des jeunes, les gens et les médias le voit déja comme future superstar a bollywood, il a été nominé et a gagné plusieurs fois dans les différentes cérémonies....
je me demande si il n'aurait pas été le fils d'une grande star est ce qu'il aurait eu toute cette médiatisation...
Mais on peut pas nier qu'il est du talent ce petit quand même, il a beaucoup de charme et du naturel dans son jeu.

Il est surtout le petit-fils de Raj Kapoor et le représentant de la 4e génération de la famille Kapoor, ce qui est un héritage à double tranchant. Il bénéficie certes d'une médiatisation bien plus importante qu'aucun autre débutant de sa génération, mais être le petit-fils d'un des acteurs les plus populaires du ciné hindi n'est pas forcément un héritage facile à porter. Fatalement, à chacune de ses prestations, on l'attend au tournant et on ne manque de le comparer à son grand-père, voire à son père (ou à ses oncles accessoirement).
Moi-même, au début, quand je l'ai vu sur les photos de promo de Saawariya, je m'étais dit "quoi, ce laideron, petit-fils du grand Raj Kapoor, quelle déperdition de gènes, quel scandale!.
En regardant ses films, j'ai changé d'avis et Ranbir est devenu pour moi l'acteur le plus prometteur de sa génération.

je suis d'accord avec toi didi, il est vraiment très prometteur, je trouve qu'il choisit vraiment bien ses films et surtout il varie très bien ses roles : son perso dans ajab prem est complètement différent de celui de saawariya par exemple...

Outre ses projets en cours [Pour rappel : Rockstar (dont la sortie était prévue le 8 juillet mais qui, selon les dernières rumeurs, serait maintenant reportée en septembre ?), Barfee (dont le tournage a commencé le 24 mars) et, normalement, une nouvelle collaboration avec Karan Johar et Ayan Mukerji], Ranbir a accepté d'être un "item boy" dans un film pour enfants :

RANBIR KAPOOR SHOOTS FOR PROMOTIONAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR CHILLAR PARTY

Ranbir Kapoor is doing his first ever promotional video for a kids flick titled Chillar Party. For the first time ever, there is going to be an item song or promotional video for a kids flick featuring a famous star.

Chillar Party's music has been given by Amit Trivedi and this particular song is a mix of street instruments, local voices and dialect and sung by Amit and his mother. Choreography is done by Bosco-Ceaser.

Says Vikas Bahl, who has directed the film, "Ranbir Kapoor saw the film and loved it. That's when we requested him if he would do an item song for the kids and he loved the idea, and readily agreed"

In fact, people from the industry who have seen the film have loved it and are supporting the film. In the promotional music video, Ranbir Kapoor will feature in the avatar of a 'tapori' guy which is inspired by one of the characters of the film!

Ranbir Kapoor tourne sa toute première vidéo promotionnelle pour un film pour enfants intitulé "Chillar Party". C'est la première fois qu'il y aura une vidéo promotionnelle pour un film pour enfants avec une star célèbre.

La musique de "Chillar Party" a été composée par Amit Trivedi et cette chanson particulière est un mélange d'instruments de la rue, de voix et de dialectes locaux et est chantée par Amit et sa mère. La chorégraphie est faite par Bosco-Ceaser.
